Project Details
The Museum of Islamic Civilizations is located in an area of 10.000,00M2 within the Büyük Çamlıca Mosque Complex. Inside the Museum, there are exhibition areas, Foyer, Ticketing, Workshop, Gift Shop, Offices, Staff Rooms, WCs, technical areas, Cafeteria, and Warehouse. The sections in the museum are Turkish Weaving Art, Artifacts Attributed to the Prophet, Decorative Elements in Islamic Art, The First Temple Kaaba, Damascus Documents, The Holy Kuran and Enclosures, Science in Islam, Berats and Edicts, Calligraphy, Ottoman Clothing, Talismanic Objects, Destimal Tradition and Sanduka Pusheeds, Conquest in Islam, Turkish Tile Art, Islamic Coins. In addition to these, there are 19 digital works on Islamic subjects in the museum, including Video Mapping, Kiosk, Video Production, Interactive Application, and Touch Screen Application.
